Recruiting Scientists with a PhD for an Interdisciplinary breakthrough research project in the field of retinal prosthesis

Experience is Needed in Electrophysiology,

Microfabrication, or Biomedical Engineering

 

The research will be funded for 4 years through several research funds

We are recruiting scientists from two fields for an interdisciplinary research project aimed at developing the next generation retinal prosthesis for restoration of sight for patients suffering from retinal degeneration

Scientists should have qualifications in one of the following fields:

  1. PhD in the field of electrophysiology – MEA, Patch clamp, and  calcium imaging
  2. http://webvision.med.utah.edu/imageswv/Sagschem.jpegPhD in Micro/nano fabrication or in a similar field in biomedical engineering      

We are looking for dedicated, hard-working scientists, with track-record publication in high impact journals, who wish to achieve a scientific breakthrough.

The lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for electrophysiology from the retina to the visual cortex, VSDI, retinal imaging, a stem cell culture facility, and surgical suites.
