Celebrating Excellence
The NOVA Excellence Scholarship Award Ceremony, held in collaboration with BINA, was honored by the presence of NOVA’s senior leadership, including Chief Technology Officer Dr. Shay Wolfeling and Vice President of Human Resources Ms. Sharon Dayan.
The event concluded with a distinguished panel discussion on the intersection of science and industry, providing students with valuable insights into the professional landscape and potential avenues for future collaboration.

Two Days of Scientific Excellence at the BINA Annual Conference!
This week, we gathered at Neve Ilan Hotel for the BINA Annual Conference, a two-day event celebrating cutting-edge research and scientific discovery. 🔬 👨‍🔬 The conference featured fascinating lectures, stimulating discussions, and outstanding presentations by researchers and students, highlighting the latest advancements in nanotechnology and advanced materials.
Beyond the scientific program, attendees enjoyed a scientific poster exhibition, showcasing innovative research, and a science-inspired art exhibition, featuring stunning artistic images derived from scientific experiments.
We also made time to connect and unwind! The evening event began with a guest lecture by Prof. Yanay Ofran, followed by a musical gathering with great company, beers, and snacks 🍻 🥨
For those who love a bit of activity, a lunchtime race added extra energy to the day—spiced up with energy drinks sponsored by Red Bull 🥤
A huge thank you to all the organizers who worked tirelessly to make this event a success! Your dedication and efforts made all the difference, and we truly appreciate it.

On November 18th, we were honored to host a Job Interview Skills Workshop led by Dr. Yaakov Shaked (Project Team Leader) and Vivi Bonfil (HR) from NOVA! 💼✨
This engaging and interactive session aimed to boost our students' confidence and equip them with essential tools to excel in one of the most pivotal stages of the job search process: the interview.
The workshop covered:
✅ Key insights into what interviewers seek.
✅ Tips for tailoring resumes to match job requirements.
✅ Effective strategies for tackling challenging questions.
✅ Practical advice on making a lasting first impression.
✅ Guidance on managing the flow of discussion during interviews.

As in previous years, we had the privilege of hosting the award ceremony for outstanding student publications at the Nano Institute of Bar-Ilan University. 🏆
This year, 30 students were recognized for their exceptional publications in prestigious scientific journals, including Carbon, Nanoscale, Nature Communications, and more.
This remarkable achievement showcases the talent, dedication, and excellence of our students in the field of nanotechnology.
