ne of the major goals of my group is to better understand and treat disorders that are linked to aberrant protein folding and assembly. Our research strategy is interdisciplinary, aiming at utilizing self-assembly processes to design new modalities for arresting amyloid formation in different diseases. We also use self-assembly processes to enhance biological activity by inducing multivalency. The main thrust of my group’s research is summarized below.
