By tailoring thermodynamically stable nano-features in thermoelectric materials the thermal conductivity of thermoelectric materials can be decreased without damaging the electronic properties of these materials, this allows for higher ZT of thermoelectric materials. Using the stable nano-structuring approach to thermoelectric materials, nanofeatures can remain stable even at high temperatures which required for thermoelectric applications.
