Belal Abu Salha holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has extensive expertise in sonochemistry, nanoparticle quantification, and characterization. His research is centered around edible coatings for agricultural applications, including shelf-life extension, antibacterial properties, and fruit quality assessment. He specializes in synthesizing carbon dots to promote plant growth, enhance nutrient uptake, protect plants from fungal and bacterial diseases, and improve crop yields. Belal joined us last year and is currently training in Ion Beam Analysis (IBA) unit, focusing on Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS).
