Significantly improved cycling performance of LiCoPO(4) cathodes

The improved cycling performance of a LiCoPO(4) cathode was observed in a 1 M LiPF(6) ethylene carbonate (EC)/dimethyl carbonate (DMC) solution in LiCoPO(4)/Li cells with quartz separators. The reasons for the fast capacity fading of these cells with the ordinary polyethylene (PE) separators are discussed. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
