Student Awards, Prizes and Scholarships

Our students' merit is evident throughout BINA's laboratories. These students are dedicated, punctual, creative and rigorous and they know how to work collaboratively as part of a team.  We are honored to announce the latest student recipients of prestigious awards, prizes and scholarships, a testament to their commitment and talent:

 

 

Racheli Ron, Prof. Adi Salomon's student at the Department of Chemistry, was selected to participate in the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting.

Sapir Weitz Sobelman, Prof. Beena Kalisky's student at the Department of Physics, received scholarship for master's degrees for outstanding women in hi-tech.

Matan Krasner, Prof. Doron Gerber's student at the Mina and Everard Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences, was awarded 1st place for his poster (out of 750 posters) at the ILANIT 2020 Conference, Federation of all the Israel Societies for Experimental Biology (FISEB).

Daphna Diamandi, Prof. Orit Shefi's student at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, received the Ministry of Science and Technology M.Sc. Scholarship in the fields of engineering and exact sciences. 

Tal Ben-Uliel, Prof. Orit Shefi's student at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, received the Golda Meir Academic-Business Sector Scholarship for the Advancement of Women in Science and Technology from the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Reut Plen, Prof. Orit Shefi's student at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, received the Ministry of Science and Technology M.Sc. Scholarship in the fields of engineering and exact sciences. 

Oshra Betzer, post-doctoral fellow in Prof. Rachela Popovtzer’s Lab at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, received the Ministry of Science and Technology Excellence Scholarship for post-doctoral fellows.

Moran Cohen-Berkman, post-doctoral fellow in Prof. Rachela Popovtzer’s Lab at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering, received the Ministry of Science and Technology Excellence Scholarship for post-doctoral fellows.

Noy Elmaliach, Prof. Rachela Popovtzer's student at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering received the Ministry of Science and Technology Excellence Scholarship for doctoral students.

Marianna Beiderman, Prof. Rachela Popovtzer's student at the Alexander Kofkin Faculty of Engineering received the Ministry of Science and Technology Excellence Scholarship for doctoral students.
