Elucidation of protein-G-quadruplex DNA readout mechanism using model proteins

Protein-DNA interactions

Targeted delivery of therapeutics using nano-based methods

Synthetic biosensor chip

The common characterization of different roles of G-quadruplexes in organisms and their mechanism relies solely on employing small molecules that lack specificity for a certain G-quadruplex sequence. As such, developing ligands that are based on proteins and preserve the recognition mechanisms of natural proteins are more likely to introduce specificity that will serve a firm foundation for studying G-quadruplexes.
