The Bar-Ilan Institute of Nanotechnology & Advanced Materials (BINA) was founded in 2007, after years of careful planning and consideration.
A relatively young and growing program, it currently consists of 40 distinct research groups, with approximately 260 graduate students and over 320 research staff members.
The institute’s research faculties are divided into six main practice areas:
Committed to advancing scientific achievements and pursuing academic excellence, BINA inspires scientific education and research within a vibrant, collaborative community that includes some of the world’s leading scientists.
An important part of achieving our goals is BINA’s state-of-the-art Equipment Center, which facilitates the important, groundbreaking research programs that the institute, university, and guest fellows conduct.
The Equipment Center welcomes fellows from the private sector and other academic institutes to make use of our advanced facilities and to benefit from our scientific staff’s extensive knowledge base and experience.
